    How do they attach hair extensions to the hair?

    Artistic lounge attaches these with either keratin or microrings. Keratin is a hair-specific substance that is not harmful, it is the protein of your hair. The keratin waxes are thus synthetically imitated. Microrings are small rings with a silicone cushion between them that are then pressed together so that they cannot slide out.

    How many hair extensions do I need?

    Fine 50-100 pieces
    Normally 100-125 pieces
    Thick 150 to ..

    How many extensions can I lose during my four month wearing period?

    It is normal to lose 10% of your hair extensions. This is completely normal because you lose 100 to 150 hairs per day. If you brush your hair, it can happen that the extensions slide out. If you lose more than 10%, contact us immediately.

    How long does it take to install hair extensions?

    For the silicone bands about an hour. For the keratin waxes it depends on the amount but an average is 2h to 2.5h

    I have had chemotherapy, can I have hair extensions placed?

    Unfortunately, I advise against this until one and a half years after chemotherapy.
    It takes quite a while for the chemo to completely leave your hair and to prevent breakage, etc., it is best to postpone this for a while.
